ORIENTATION
Remember the most important rule of DHSI: You can’t do everything. This rule applies to the conference as a whole and even to this
course alone. Please consider everything in these checklists optional. Decide which aspects of our course are valuable to you and
accessible given your available time, energy, and stamina. Do what makes sense for you.
This document can be downloaded or printed—click the wrench/spanner icon on the toolbar’s right side.
Tabs along the top of the document allow you to jump to a specifi c day’s activities.
Activities intended for
everyone (
participants and auditors
alike) are all asynchronous. Activities specifi cally for registered
participants help us
work together to create ideas and artifacts throughout the week
. Those activities work best with a bit of
coordination and are listed as “synchronish” because we’ll try to align our timing somewhat. Any scheduled, time-specifi c activities
on daily checklists have their times
noted in red
to highlight.
Daily reading lists refer to texts from Hybrid Pedagogy Books using acronyms:
An Urgency of Teachers
(UoT),
Critical Digital
Pedagogy: A Collection
(CDPC), and
Hybrid Teaching: Pedagogy, People, Politics
(HT). All texts are available for free on the web or
available for purchase as print-on-demand.
