Computer Science is an integral part of your everyday. You benefi t from
computer science on the daily, yet many of you haven’t had the opportunity
to do any CS yourselves.
Well, today that’s all going to change for you!
Goals:
•
Conduct research on an assigned landmark in Russia
•
You may use any combination of print, database, and internet sources. BUT you must use
at least ONE of each.
•
Evaluate (and be able to defend) your sources during research to select the most reliable and
accurate sources
•
Compile pertinent information about the landmark
•
Make a fi ctitious connection for each fact to a location on the Sphero City map
•
Identify the latitude and longitude of each location that you select on the Sphero City map
•
Cite your sources
•
Using block code in Tynker direct the Bolt to visit each location on the Sphero City map and “speak”
about the fact that connects the landmark to that location.
•
Record Bolt’s trip around the map and your code.
