Group Stages
In case two teams are tied on points, the highest ranking team will be determined by:
1. Superior goal difference (goals scored - goals against)
2. Head to head result against the other team most goals scored
3. Team who has won the most matches;
4. In the slim chance the above criteria does not separate the teams; straight penalty shootout between
the teams (more information on the day)

nockout Rules
In the event of a tie, the team that:
1. Scores the fi rst goal will progress
2. Scoreless draw; the fi rst team to be awarded an attacking corner will be deemed the winner;
3. If no attacking corners have occu

red; the team with the fi rst shot on target will be deemed the winner;
4. If no shots on target have occu
r
red; a winner will be determined by a single sudden death penalty shot.
A coin toss will occur; the team named fi rst on the fi xture will call heads/tails; the winner of the toss may
choose to attack (shoot at goal) or defend (GK protect the goal/save the shot). The result of the single
penalty kick will determine the winner i.e. score = attacking team progress; miss/save = defending team
progress)
Grand Final Rules
In the event the Grand Final match is tied at full time the foll

wing will occur:
1. An extra 5 minutes will be played with the Golden Goal Rule enforced (fi rst team to score wins the
match)
2. After the 5 minutes, the match will continue with Golden Goal Rule and the foll
owi
ng will occur:
one player from each team will drop off until two (2) players remain from each team. Teams may
continue to make substit
u
tions at any time during this period (no stop in play is required).
