Denver Post misreports in print then corrects story online: will corrected story run Monday?
Denver— An enthusiastic crowd gathered at the Colorado Capitol Saturday afternoon to kick off
a study of the Colorado election procedures.
The headline and the story in the Denver Post print edition created the impression the group
was meeting to consider a change to a Presidential Primary.

Those who attended the meeting saw the mischaracterization of the meeting and responded on
Twitter and elsewhere. As a result the story was rewritten to include more of the positive
remarks that were made about the importance of the Colorado Caucus, and it was given a new
headline.
