Me: Ankis, Roden Guide
•
Anna: Mason, Human Skinchanger
•
Taylor: Deanna, Human Witch
•
Olivia: Jasmina (Nina), Elf Cleric
•
Tommy: Orome, Human Warrior
•
Mike: Dario, Human Assassin
5/13/16: Crossing the Mountains Home
•
Attempted to climb the mountain, but saw a skirmish above
the clouds and a flying ship crash; went to investigate.
•
Found a human warrior trapped in the rubble being attacked
by three displaced beasts; rescued him and he joined the
party (chased off two beasts, killed third; skinned and
butchered, now have displaced beast hide to make a cloak).
•
Turns out the warrior, Orome, had been a captive of
Emberburst and his companions had been executed.
•
Found tracks leading away into the mountains.
•
Tracks lead to an old nonfunctioning waterway leading into
the mountain; followed into tunnel.
•
Found a cross-tunnel that seemed suspicious; found gold
veins in wall; Ajax got a chunk, but Ankis failed and alerted
the purple worm who had burrowed the cross tunnel.
•
After realizing that the purple worm was extremely
dangerous, Ankis lead a Flee conflict and won it in one roll;
escaped over a frozen bridge that collapsed under the worm's
weight, scarring up a bunch of harpies from far below, but
they flew into the sky, ignoring us.
•
Found Emberburst and his forces fi ghting a giant
thunderbird; defeated Emberburst and Mason took his
hammer; Thunderbird, the guardian of the mountains, gave
us a whistle that will call him should we need to cross the
mountains again.
•
Jasmina read Emberburst's past and saw that he had been
betrayed by his allies because he had been questioning their
leader's goals; also learned the sea-elf island already lost to
undead forces; need an army to take back.
•
Going to human city to rest for winter; I have Mason for
reflection.
•
End of session.
Winter Session Plans
•
New Wise: Baron Muut-Wise
•
Mason's New Trait: Mason is always taking chances, from
leaping under a falling Ashley to save his "life", to smashing
open gates and doors instead of quietly picking them. So I'm
giving him the trait Nothing to Lose.
•
Make a cloak (Weaver Ob 3) out of displacer-beast hide.
•
Earn checks towards Theologian.
•
Pray at shrine (Theologian test +1D and sacrifi ce? +1D).
5/27/16: Winter Session
•
Started the Winter session and had no conditions, so I
decided to sleep in the streets/sewers. Bad idea. Got rousted
and kicked out of town. No winter session for me. (Ankis
did hear a rumor of a thief that drowned down-river loaded
down with coin.)
•
Orome heard a rumor of a nearby village with a monster
attacking and killing livestock and children.
•
Ashley found out one of his minions took the fall for the
murder of the dwarven smith and was executed.
•
Nina read Ashley's intentions and found that he has not
completely fallen into evil. There is a spark of hope in him.
•
Ashley read Nina's heart and learned her greatest fear is that
she may completely lose faith in her goddess.
•
Mason traded Emberburst's hammer to the dwarf weapon
collector but he had nothing of equal value to trade. He is
going to look for an equally powerful magical axe for him.
•
Left town and Ankis found the drowned thief and looted his
body.
•
Arrived at village to fi nd another party (The Glorious
Fuckhearts) dragging in what they claimed to be the killer
(Who had killed one of their own in the capture).
•
The GFHs had found evidence of the murders in the
creature's cave so he was put in the stockades to hang in the
morning.
•
Creature turned out to be Mason's father and a Shapechanger.
•
Though he doesn't trust him, Mason doesn't believe his father
capable of such actions.
•
Nina did a reading on one of the victim's possessions and
found that a dire-wolf had killed him.
•
GFHs seem honorable and do not wish to execute an
innocent creature. (They even understand that he killed their
companion out of self-defense.)
•
The elf in the GFHs guided us to the cave then left.
•
We found no real new evidence in the cave but felt
something watching us and found a trail that lead to a hollow
tree.
•
Ankis found a trap door on the bottom of the tree and the
spike trap guarding it.
•
When he was going to disarm in, Mason did his smash-thing
instead and knocked the tree down.
•
End of session.
6/11/16: Into the Dire Wolf Lair
•
Went into the hatch under the tree. Lead to a spiral trail
taking us down to a long, man-made tunnel, roughly hewn
and occasionally supported by rough wooden beams.
•
Came to an open chamber flooded with murky water about
knee-deep. Ankis searched the water but found it to be
inhabited only by small fi sh.
•
Tread through the water to see a half-dozen pairs of eyes
glowing at the edge of our light. They scattered when they
saw us and took off down the tunnel. Went into a Chase
conflict to keep them from warning anyone ahead.
•
Caught them when Mason caved in the ceiling ahead of
them, blocking the path. After determining they had some
modicum of intelligence, Orome instructed Ashley to
intimidate them into submission. Ashley took it a step too far
and tried to kill the fat one, failing to do so. The rats
transformed into half-rat/half-men wererats and attacked.
•
Had a Capture conflict that we barely won. Captured most of
the wererats, but the fat one got away. Ashley used his
"torture-mixer" on the lead rat (Skaggs?) and got him to talk.
•
The wererats worship Skull, the evil night Demi-god, brother
to Torimisu(?) and twin to the God of the moon. Also
revealed the presence of werewolves and that the mayor of
the halfling village is the lead werewolf and that it was they
that were preying on the halfling villagers, killing and eating
some, converting others to werebeasts.
•
Continued on, with Orome tying up Skaggs and taking him
as a guide. However, Ankis and Ashley stayed behind to
execute the rest for murder and forced lycanthropy.
2
•
Came to a split in the tunnel, with no noise on the right and
growling, gnawing to the left. Skaggs was forced to tell us
that their dire-wolves were kept to the left, so we went right.
•
Found a stretch of tunnel with several sets of doors. Heard a
girl's screams and bestial growls from a far door. Skaggs
was again forced to reveal that the fi rst doors were cells and
the door with the noises was the "conversion room."
•
We charged in to fi nd a halfling man whipping a tied up
halfling girl, yelling at her to "release the beast." The girl's
wounds healed almost instantly, showing that she had already
been converted.
•
After the torturer changed into a full blown werewolf, we
succeeded in a Chase-Off conflict to rescue the girl. When
he ran off howling, another door further down the hall
opened and two more wererats emerged to see what was
going on. Ankis fooled them into thinking he was one of
them and sent them after "the ones that got away."
•
We had an extremely successful camp in the conversion
room and found that the girl was the mayor's daughter and a
hereditary werewolf, not one infected by bite. With no real
control over herself, she had been the one to commit at least
some of the recent murders. There was another halfling in
the cells, a shepherd, who had been converted. We rescued
him as well.
•
The last door lead to the mayor's secret treasure room. We
fi gured out how to open it, (phase of the moon whispered to a
painting) and got the treasure, which included a stash of
silvered-weapons.
•
Finally reached a secret stairwell that lead to a shearing cabin
in the village. Got there at dawn, just before Douglas,
Mason's father, was to be hung.
•
With the help of the mayor's daughter, we revealed him to be
the lead werewolf, which lead to a Kill conflict with him and
his minions.
•
We lost the conflict but with a major compromise. The
mayor/werewolf escaped and we were all Left For Dead. (I
offered for Ankis to die to make it easier on the others, but
the counter compromise wasn't enough, so everyone said no,
we'd all take the LFD option.)
•
The villagers were satisfi ed of our fi ndings and released
Douglas, who joined the Glorious Fuckhards. Next session,
we will start with a town phase in the halfling village.
6/24/16: Paradise Island
•
(Forgot to do a journal for this session. Will write what little
I can remember.)
•
In town I fi nally had my Displacer Cloak made.
•
Ashley “inherited” a halfling home from a murder victim.
Paying to have it altered for his size and keeping it a “murder
house”.
•
Don’t remember how, but we discovered the existence of a
serpent stone
, (a source of magical/divine sunlight, of
possible use against undead),
on a tropical island in the
eastern seas known for
birds of paradise
and disappearing
visitors.
•
Mason found us passage to the island on a ship, but they
wouldn’t go to shore, just drop us off and let us row in.
•
Orome convinced them to come back for us on their return
trip in exchange for the promise of bringing them
birds of
paradise
to sell.
•
Walking in the woods, we set off a net trap, but avoided it.
Everyone else hid while Ankis wrapped himself in the net
pretending to be caught.
•
Several yuan-ti (snake men) showed up. We fought and
captured them. Forced them to show us where the tempe is.
(apparently let them go at some point).
•
Found the temple and think that was the end of the session.
7/10/16: Into the Yuan-ti Temple
•
I wasn’t there for this one. (Had to take Bev to the
emergency room.) Neither was Olivia. (Had to work?) So it
was just Tommy, Taylor and Anna. This is what I remember
been told and from the recap.
•
Got into the temple, found a detailed mural of a
Quetzalcoatl
.
Was a trap that dropped Mason and Ashley into a pit of
snakes. They escaped and Mason got a pet snake.
•
Found Yuan-ti fi ghting a Q
uetzalcoatl
over a lava pit.
Helped, killed one, chased most off, one fell into pit and
disappeared instead of dying.
•
There was a portal above the lava. Party jumped in and
found Jacosta and death knight Zahiraa preparing to sacrifi ce
an elf. (Turned out he was an elven prince.) Defeated them
but Jacosta got away. Zahiraa was slain; Ashley ate remains;
whatever was left was thrown into the lava, presumably
resulting in her true death.
•
Ashley and Mason argued over who got to take the
serpent
stone
. Ashley won.
•
Turns out the
serpent stone
is a
Quetzalcoatl
egg and can
only be used if the existing
Quetzalcoatl
is dead. The living
Q offered to die but could not commit suicide. Asked the elf
to perform the deed. He did, so the Q is dead and the
serpent
stone
is active.
7/22/16: The Desecrated Temple of Baron Muut
•
Did a town session in Port of Swords.
•
Got attacked by sea elf pirates on the way to PoS. Beached
them on a hidden sand bar, but they summoned a storm
elemental. We defeated it and continued on our way.
•
Nothing outstanding happened in PoS. Got over conditions;
Ashley did something in secret with his Unmentionable Plot
and slept with an old priestess of Baron Muut in exchange
for a prayer to relieve his Exhaustion; elf that we rescued
told us of a Temple of Baron Muut in the elven forests that
had been desecrated by the churches of the new gods and is
protected by magic, if we might be interested.
•
Jasmina talked the elf prince into coming with us. Turns out
she has a crush on him.
•
Traveled through woods and found the temple under a barren
hill.
•
Found an underground tunnel that had caved in but bypassed
the magical protections on the true entrance. Dropped us into
the middle of the dungeon.
•
Found some insects(?) the size of dogs that tried to scare us
off. They were protecting a jell that held their eggs and a
shiny object. Ankis used the distraction of the rest of the
party leaving to steal the object, which turned out to be an
ivory and onyx holy symbol of Baron Muut.
•
Tunnel branched off with left have the sound of an elf child
crying. Jasmina tried to run and help but Ankis and Mason
stopped her, suspecting a trap. The sound was on a sort of
loop, suggesting a mimic, so we went the other route.
3
•
Lead to a hall of ghosts that seemed harmless. But the ghost
of a dwarf attacked Ashley. (Was the ghost of the dwarf who
built the dam we destroyed a long time ago, when Ashley
was still living. He was supposed to build a monument to the
dwarf and never did.) We did a Banishment conflict and
won. End of session.
8/5/16: The Desecrated Temple of Baron Muut Pt 2
•
(This was a month ago and I don’t really remember all.)
•
Found a library in the temple that was possessed by
poltergeists. Nina turned them easily.
•
Found some kenku thieves, drove them off. (Did fi nd out
that kenku were originally crow servants of Baron Muut but
that they stole from him sentience and he cursed them to live
without flight and only able to communicate through
mimicry.)
•
Found a room with a giant statue of an owl with a human
skull for a face. This is a representation of Baron Muut.
Turning the head fully around opened a secret door that
revealed clerical robes and a holy symbol, which Ankis now
carries.
•
Found a blood pool where blood was some kind of undead
creature/spirit. Again, Nina killed turn and destroyed
undead.
•
Learned somehow that “drowning” in the blood pool was a
way to have a spiritual experience with Baron Muut. Ankis
performed the ritual and met Baron Muut as the giant owl
with a human skull for a face. Muut revealed to Ankis the
plans for the undead/sea elf army to fly a fleet to attack Port
of Swords and then travel up the wall, destroying cities along
the way. Also showed him a vision of Vampire Otto being
slain and turning into a sea elf. (Decoys?) When he awoke,
Baron Muut had rewarded Ankis with a
deadwood stick
,
which can be forged into a steak that can invoke true death
on master vampire.
•
Rescued elf (Oshimo?) kissed Nina and was befriended by
Orome. Promised to try to rally elven forces in defense of
the wall. Also took
deadwood stick
to have a master elven
smiths to forge into stead.
•
In town at PoS, discovered that the
Serpent Stone
had been
stolen and replaced with a fake. Made plans with sea elf ship
captain (fi rst mate under an undead captain) for him to get us
on board his ship and us to fi gure out how to get to Otto’s
ship and destroy the
Black Pearl
.
9/3/16: Otto’s Fleet Attacks
•
Anna did recap
•
Started session with:
•
Ankis receives a letter from the sisters along with fi ve owl
feathers. Said that feathers were charmed with
feather fall
spell and to invoke, you must shout your greatest fear.
•
Orome received a note (delivered by a
dragonscale eagle
under magical influence) from elven prince saying that the
deadwood stick was being worked on by elven forgers and
that the elven council was to meet about the attacks “within
the decade”. He said he would try to speed up the process.
Signed it something like “forever yours”. (Nina received no
such note and was
really
jealous.)
•
Mason received a long note from sea elf captain basically
saying he won’t know what ship Otto is on and that we need
to get captured by his ship as they were under orders to bring
back all captives alive. We were to wait for a mutiny before
being released by restored sea elf captain.
•
We created a diversion using dock prostitutes and snuck on
board into the cargo hold. We stashed our weapons so as to
appear less aggressive.
•
After leaving port and joining fleet, we faked foolish
drunkenness and were imprisoned in holding cells along with
a dwarf, halfling and a human.
•
Human (Olmo?) was former companion to Orome and
revealed that Orome is gay and had tried to hit on
homophobic (closeted gay in denial?) Olmo, who kicked him
out of the group.
•
Ankis picked his lock but was caught stashing picks in
Hood
of Secrets
, which was confi scated by guard.
•
Mason tried to mind meld with Stitch (who was flying
around ship). Failed, but could still see through his eyes,
explore ship.
•
Finally, a sea elf guard came down and replaced one of the
existing guards, much to the other’s suspicion. They tried to
kill each other, but mutinous elf died, other (he who took
HoS) was stabbed but lived.
•
Ankis and Mason charged out of unlocked cell. Ankis
jumped injured elf, slew him and took back HoS.
•
After releasing others, we heard traitorous sea elves
barricading themselves in the cargo hold. Charged in and
captured them all, locking them in the cells.
•
Undead half-orc pirate captain entered, found us instead of
allies and challenged us to a fi ght. Nina blasted him with
turn undead, destroying him.
•
Found out there were three ships leading fleet, each with an
Otto at the helm. Mason successfully melded with Stitch and
discovered which was the true Otto, but Stitch was captured
by a sailor and put in barrel to eat later.
•
Captain boarded/attacked Otto’s ship and we fought Otto.
Nina turned his vampire minions. Mason transformed into a
dire ram. Otto transformed into a dire wolf and swallowed
Black Pearl. Big fi ght ended with Otto’s true death and
Orome injured.
•
Rome fashioned parachutes from now useless sails for dwarf,
halfling and human.
•
Took ship, but both were now damaged and “dead in the
water”. Mason used Black Pearl to turn off flight for all
ships but our two. They all crashed to the ground below,
exploding from barrels of dwarves powder.
•
Mason, while still in dire ram form, stomped on Pearl and
shattered it. As ship was falling, we set powder to explode
and jumped using the feathers. (Greatest fears: Nina-failing
her family; Ankis-never having a family/nest; Orome-failing
companions; Ashley-never getting revenge; Mason-being
tortured again).
•
Landed safely, thought all was over but undead sea elves
started emerging from wreckages for a battle next session.
•
MVP: Mason; Teamworker: Orome
9/16/16: Battle of the Burning Dead
•
Olivia did recap
•
Mike (playing the town guard Captain Jeff), and Tommy
were MVP and Teamworker
•
Started off with seeing that the undead army was being lead
by a demon on a nightmare along with three skeletal
creatures wing barbed tails.
4
•
Camped and did a few things, like Orome getting a horse.
But he wanted an elven horse, so did a test and found one.
•
Came up with a strategy: Orome would lead half of the
calvary from other city to the woods and flank the army;
Ankis would lead the archers from boats in the river; the rest
would attack head on.
•
As the undead army tried to cross the river bridges, Ankis
ordered the archers to target the bottlenecks. This set up a
successful and quick attack that decimated the undead forces
(We won with a minor compromise).
•
After Ankis joined the others, walls of fi re rose and separated
the parted from our army. We were forced to fi ght the demon
alone, but we defeated her handily. (I believe Orome was
injured in the fi ght.)
•
Ended the session with the beginning of the winter session,
(Ankis gained Diversion-Wise and the Reluctant Hero Trait.
•
Will do the rest of the winter session next time.
10/2/16: A New Assassin Joins the Group
•
Finished Winter Session.
•
Nina went on a double date with Ohmo and an elf that Nina
set up with Orome. Things went as expected with Ohmo,
even after he had Ginny and the dwarf come in and serenade
them.
•
Orome hit it off with the elf (Kowomo?). When the elf spoke
of being lost in the world with no destination, Orome tried to
talk him into joining us but failed. Kowomo challenged
Orome to bring him a gift from his next adventure. Orome
intends to fi nd him a dagger (his weapon of choice).
•
Ankis befriended Ginny by giving her a Ring of Protection,
then stayed in the streets with Ashley, where he had his coin
stolen.
•
Orome learned a bit of the armorer skill from a mentor and
had a date with Ohmo, (see above).
•
We were joined by Mike's assassin Dario. He has been
tasked by the Twins to assassinate Ankis's enemy Esteban
Dawnwalker, who is holed up in the nearby town of
Glimmercoast. However, Glimmercoast has been Overrun
with zombies with the lord's tower apparently being
protected by the Serpent Stone's light.
•
Ashley hired the pirate mercenaries the Red Sails, to attack
Glimmercoast from the sea so that we can use them as a
diversion to enter town from land. He also stayed on the
streets and got deeper into his Unspeakable Plot.
•
Mason, Ankis and Dorio went to Ironhouse's House of Iron
to investigate how the Serpent Stone may have been stolen,
but had little luck.
•
We used the pirate attack as a diversion an snuck into town
and to the tower. Found a tunnel through to the moat, then
an entrance into the sewers of the keep, then a drain up into a
chamber better the keep.
•
Went through several tunnels and found several doors, all
apparently the backs of secret doors leading away from the
keep proper. Found one that went through a closet and used
it to get into the keep.
•
Found the lord's chamber from a door behind a tapestry.
Saw two guards, a young lord and bald man with a beard
who appeared to be EsTeban Dawnwalker. They didn't see
us and when one called out "Is that you, Mother?", Nina
made him think it was. Fooled young lord to come into hall
with one guard. Shut the door and knocked them out.
•
Woke the young lord and questioned him. He said that
zombies just "appeared" one night and became an epidemic
and that Dawnwalker showed up to "help" with the Serpent
Stone. Found this suspicious. (Jason reminded us later that
Dawnwalker had been in Port of Swords when we turned in
the Stone. Had talked to Ashley about Ankis, but Ashley
denied knowing him).
•
Ashley read the soul of the young lord saw that his greatest
fear is that his older brother is still alive and will one day
come back to claim his inheritance. But Ashley told us that
the boy was plotting his father's death.
•
Wanting to know more about this plot, Nina cast a spell to
look back at its creation. She found no such plot but did fi nd
a memory where the young lord was fi ghting off the zombie
horde which his older brother and their men when they called
for a strategic retreat. After their men were safely away, the
young lord stabbed his brother and shoved him into the
zombies.
•
Nina confronted the young lord about his schemes and he
fi nally confessed. But she let the rest of the party believe
Ashley's story of the young lord's plot to kill his father.
•
Arguments were made on whether to execute the young lord
for murder or leave him to the mercies of his family. We tied
him and his guard up and tossed them into the sewer for the
family to recover later. (But not before Nina cornered
Ashley and questioned him on why he lied about his vision.
Ashley denied lying but Nina doesn't believe him. She has
yet to reveal Ashley's deception to the others.)
•
Exploring the lower levels of the tower, we found an art
gallery with strange, rotating glass pillars. Dario discovered
they were magically trapped but found a way around it.
Ankis fi gured they were a fancy lock and got it open,
revealing a treasure chamber with bags of coins, gems and a
stature and tapestry of an old god of magic.
•
We found a dining hall with a mother and daughter eating
broth (getting low on food with the zombie horde
surrounding them). The girl was from a vision that Dario
had while praying showing her being held by Dawnwalker
with a dagger to her throat. He left us in the hall so as not to
alarm them and then went in to warn them of their danger.
He convinced them to hide in the treasure room and that we
or the lord of the manor would come for them later when the
danger has passed.
•
End of session.

10/14/16: Murder Among Family
•
Went back to throne room and found it fi lled with survivors
from the town. One noble (a cousin to the lord) and his
guards confronted us, but we convinced him of our desire to
help. He told us of his suspicions that Dawnwalker had his
lord under a spell and that they had went higher into the
tower. Also told us of the master of coin who had been
imprisoned for questioning Dawnwalker's intentions and the
court mage who had disappeared after asking too many
questions.
•
A guard escorted us to the cell with the imprisoned master of
coin, but we learned little from him that we didn't already
know.
5
•
The guard then lead us up the tower but was killed by
crossbowmen who had been ordered to kill any who entered.
Mason transformed to his dire ram form and charged,
scattering the soldiers and destroying their barricade. We
disarmed the guards and sent them downstairs to our noble
ally.
•
Found Dawnwalker's room with books and scrolls describing
how to fi ght undead. But, in his chest, Ankis found a false
bottom with Dawnwalker's stash of poisons, personal
treasures and his journal. The last several pages of the
journal had a name written over and over, in decaying
penmanship. (Can't remember the name, but it was the
dwarven vampire we let escape.)
•
Never found the lord or Dawnwalker, but found a door
leading outside with extremely bright light coming through
the cracks and assumed it was the Serpent Stone. Shielded
our eyes and peaked in, seeing a pair of legs resting on the
ground. Mason recovered the serpent stone, storing it in its
wooden box, hiding its light.
•
This revealed that the resting legs were those of a woman
who had been shackled to the pillar beneath the Serpent
Stone for days, her skin burned and blistered, here eyes
blinded by the light. (The missing court mage.) When we
questioned her, all she could mutter was "We're not alone."
•
We heard the door lock behind us and were then attacked by
two flesh-golems, with bodies of men but arms attached to
legs to create huge spider-like constructs.
•
In ram form, Mason charged one of the golems and knocked
it from its perch. (It came back from the fall during the
imminent conflict, but was Injured.)
•
We defeated the golems and aided the fallen mage who told
us that Dawnwalker had an invisibility spell and had likely
escaped. Nina used a prayer on the necromancer's journal
and found that he was currently opening the vault that the
lady and her daughter were hiding in.
•
We rushed below, gathering reinforcements on our way, to
fi nd the lady's guards dead and Dawnwalker holding the girl
with a knife to her throat. Before we could stop him, he
ordered the entranced lord to kill his wife, which he did.
•
Nina used a prayer to frighten the lord and make him run (to
keep him safe). Ankis used his Dagger of Domination to
force Dawnwalker to stab himself in the shoulder. When he
laughed and tried to cast a spell, Dario threw his blade and
slew the necromancer.
•
Afterwards, Dario stopped to pray and report his success, and
Ankis, sympathizing with the little girl, stayed to ensure her
safety while Mason and Orome went to retrieve the heir to
the throne and Ashley went to catch the lord (with Nina
following to ensure no foul play).
•
(Ankis and Dario were not present for the following.) Mason
and Orome the caught up with the lord as he tried to escape
through the sewers, only to hear him screaming in terror and
grief. They found him mourning over his last surviving son's
corpse. He had apparently been eaten by stray zombies.
•
Ashley and Nina were waiting as Orome and Mason brought
the lord back to the surface. As the lord's head emerged from
the sewer, Ashley swung his sword, trying to decapitate the
lord!
•
Orome blocked the blow and a struggle insured as Ashley
tried to kill the lord and the companions tried to restrain the
deathknight.
•
The companions captured Ashley and Mason trapped him in
his
Rope of Entanglement
. About this time, Ankis and Dario
arrived, wondering what the hold up was.
•
Upon heated interrogation by Nina, Ashley admitted to being
the son of the lord in his true life. He also confessed to many
crimes: recruiting the dwarven vampire as his ally; having
him entrance Dawnwalker; arranging the theft and
replacement of the Serpent Stone; forcing Dawnwalker to
release zombie plague on his hometown of Glimmercoast,
then pretend to rescue with the Serpent Stone; the murder of
his younger brother; and the attempted murder of his father,
all in effort to gain rulership over Glimmercoast to
supposedly recruit what was left of its meager forces in the
war on Jacosta.
•
Upon Ashley admitting to his many crimes (and even more
on his insistence that he will continue murdering his family
members until he gains rulership over Glimmercoast), Nina
lost it and attempted Fury of the Lords of Light on Ashley.
Orome helped her and Dario stayed out of it and
Mason and
Ankis tried to stop her
failed and Ashley was destroyed.
•
There was a a little bit of wrapping up, mostly dividing
treasure, but nothing to compare to Ashley's destruction.
Next session will begin with a town phase in Port of Swords.

Wrapped things up in Glimmercoast. Nina talked to the lord
about Ashley’s human life. Orome trained the lord’s cousin
to be captain of the guard. Brianna(?) joined the group. (The
blinded court wizard-turned-witch). Mason helped to clean
up the decimated town. Ankis, on the pretense of helping,
instead looked for loot the pirates missed and found a bag of
gold.
•
Went to Port of Swords for the town phase. Nina got a visit
from Ankis’s owl Stitch. He had a blooded paper clutched in
his claws. It was the letter she had written to Yoshiro. She
invoked her vision prayer over it and found that he had been
captured by goblin and orc slavers and that they had
confi scated his “package” (the deadwood staff turned
deadwood sword) and that they were headed into the
Northron Foothills.
•
Ankis id’d and kept Dawnwalker’s necklace, tried to trade
the dwarven timepiece for a piece of gear, but didn’t get a
good enough offer, then spent party treasure on food and
torches.
•
Orome gave his elven crush a magic danger and convinced
him to join us as a camp guard.
•
Dario prayed and got a vision of a huge statue of a wolf at
rest, covered in moss and vines, with a pristine white
waterfall in the background and a name underneath (his next
target).
•
Brianna and her spider familiar stole her a “sexy witch outfi t”
for her to wear.
•
I don’t recall that Mason did much of anything during town.
•
After much debate, Mason built a wagon for us to travel to
the foothills, then shapeshifted to pull in himself.
•
Following the river, we found tracks of goblins, orcs and
other humanoids leading into the foothills and followed
them. In the distance, we saw flying fi gures circling the area.
Turned out to be gryphons on patrol. When Orome went
6
hunting, the gryphons attacked. Nina scared one off with a
prayer and captured the other two with another prayer. Dario
calmed and trained one as a mount and we tied the other up.
•
The gryphons had collars and iron links on their necks and
the scared one flew in the direction of the tracks. Dario flew
on his new gryphon and Mason melded with the captured
gryphon.
•
With Ankis riding Mason, we followed the scared gryphon to
a cave in the foothills hidden by a rolling rock. When the
gryphon scratched on the rock, it rolled to the side and a
large green hand reached out and guided the gryphon in.
•
Still in the body of the gryphon, Mason did the same and
entered the cave. She found and two headed orc (an ettin)
guarding three gryphon nests. Exploring the cave (one head
of the ettin as gentle with the gryphons, the other was not),
Mason found two thrown together plank doors leading from
the cave, one with gruff, calm voices, one with higher
pitched, excited voices. Mason walked to gryphon to its nest
and exited the body.
•
Back at the party, we decided to camp then lure the ettin out
of the cave. In dire-ram form, Mason smashed the rock and
lured he ettin out as bait (a beast for the ettin to train). Then
Nina again bound the ettin with
chains of fate
. We
interrogated him and discovered that Yoshiro had been
brought in but had not been seen leaving. We then convinced
him that it was in his best interest to fi nd employment
elsewhere.
•
We entered the cave and found the two gryphons chained to
the wall. We went to the door with the louder, higher voices
in that they sounded like cheers, thinking the goblins might
be having the slaves fi ght. Turned out it was just goblins
cheering on themselves in a goblin fi ght club. Mason
charged in in dire-ram form and routed them.
•
We found a cell with an elderly female gnome caring for an
injured male elf. The elf was not Yoshiro but knew him and
knew he had been taken away to be sold, but knew nothing
of the deadwood stake. We healed the elf enough to travel
and they joined us, telling of us two more cells with
troublemakers in them (a female elf and a minotaur).
•
The minotaur agreed to help us fi ght his captors. The elf was
a friend of Yoshiro that had been deemed a trouble maker for
acting as a distraction that let Yoshiro send his message
through Stitch. She knew that Yoshiro had been taken away
to be sold and that the deadwood stick had been converted
into a deadwood sword to fi ght vampires. The head orc had
confi scated the sword as his own.
•
At some point, we discovered that the destination of the
slavers was a temple to an old god who was symbolized as a
resting wolf and that the buyer was a dark elf. (The statue
and the name from Dario's vision).
•
I believe that was where we left off the night.

11/13/16: Rescuing Yoshiro
•
Finished searching the orc camp. Couldn't fi gure out the
riddle on the dwarf statue. Orome and Dario went outside to
question the ettin to see if he knew anything, but he was busy
being "rescued" by the goblins. (They were having no luck
untying Mason's magical rope.)
•
On their way back in, Orome and Dario heard a noise from
one of the side rooms and discovered a halfling hiding out.
Turns out his name is Gingerroot and he was the book keeper
for the slavers and had much information. They brought him
to the statue.
•
With Mason translating, the halfling solved the riddle and a
secret door opened in the wall revealing a dwarven crypt. On
top of the crypt was a axe/hammer hybrid and a dwarven
helmet. Mason took the weapon and Dario took the helmet.
(It has spying properties.)
•
To distract the goblins and the ettin, we released the two
remaining gryphons and let them fly away while Mason
called back her magical rope. The ettin took off after the
gryphons and the goblins cowered away when we emerged.
•
Taking the halfling Gingerroot as a guide, we left to fi nd the
temple where the slaves were to be traded to dark elves. On
the way, we found a cabin with goblins sleeping on the roof.
Deanna used a charm to alter her form to look like a dark elf
and went into the cabin where the orc leader, Drikkin the
Wise, waited with his thugs. She informed them that the
slaves they had traded had been secured with defective
manacles and had escaped. She demanded that Drikkin send
his men to retrieve them. Drikkin fell for the ruse and sent
most of his men away. After time for them to be out of
earshot, we attacked and slew the orc and his minions,
retrieving the deadwood sword and a few other items.
•
We then continued on to the temple. In the woods, Ankis felt
the effects of some type of charm magic from the woods, but
resisted its effects.
•
We arrived at the temple and discovered a pregnant drow
playing a lute with several humans, a few elves and an orc
dancing around her. The music was magical and Ankis,
Orome and Deanna succumbed to the spell, joining the
dancers. When the others approached to try to help, they
were again impacted by the magic, but still resisted and saw
through the illusion. The pregnant drow was actually a
werewolf/giant spider hybrid sitting on a pulsing eggsack and
the dancers were twirling among her webs, wrapping
themselves up as food.
•
Mason charged in and smashed the eggsack, causing the
creature to drop her lute, breaking the spell. We fought her
and killed her, though we took damage as well. Turned out
she was Dario's target and a demigod to boot. We split her
loot and are going to have town phase next session in the
elven capital

•
Did town session in Luna Laya; Elves footed bill for
accommodations in thanks for rescuing Yoshiro yet again.
Most stayed in hotel, Mason, stuck in dire-ram form, stayed
in the stables.
•
Even staying in the "safe" hotel, Ankis got robbed of a gem.
When he tried to track down the thief later, he was robbed of
his gold. But the thief left a note taunting him and it was
signed "? Gingerroot" (the halfling book keeper for the
slavers). Gingerroot is not an enemy of Ankis.
•
Dario prayed for a new target and received a vision of an
elven sounding name and a tree shrouded in smoke. No fi re,
just smoke.
7
•
Mason asked the elves if they could enchant either a lock or
the chest that we keep our special gear in to keep others from
getting in. Yoshiro promised to have it done and to keep the
chest safe and guarded.
•
Did very little shopping, but not much else happened during
town session.
•
We received a visit from two elven nobles: an uncle/advisor
to the king and the king's sister. They informed us that their
northern borders were vulnerable to attack and that they were
wanting to negotiate with the pirate dwarves of Floating
Stone Island to allow a regiment of elves to be stationed
there as a fi rst line of defense. But the roads to Floating
Stone have recently been under attack by the normally
peaceful inhabitants of the elven forests, (centaurs, sprites
and satyrs and such) and no one knew why. They had sent a
party of four scouts out to discover the source of the troubles
(the leader of which was Dario's target), but they had not
returned. They offered to pay us to escort the uncle (Talaal)
as mercenaries (as him showing up with a small army of
elves might be seen as an act of aggression). We agreed.
•
On the trail, we were attacked by centaurs, sprints and satyrs.
While Ankis hid in the woods in case of a double cross,
Dario convinced woodland creatures that were not there as
enemies. They agreed to escort the party to their leader, an
angry dryad. Staying hidden, Ankis followed.
•
(I'm a little hazy on this. It didn't make sense for Ankis to
reveal himself unless it was necessary, so I zoned out on the
following Convince conflict). At a clearing, the king's uncle
was taken by the dryad and imprisoned in a pit. After some
negotiation, she informed us that the dwarves of Floating
Stone were destroying her forest and that her leader,
Oakenbrown, had went to stop them, but they had taken him
captive. She agreed that, if we would bring back her
companion, she would release the king's uncle. If not, he
would be executed. We agreed.
•
Talaal admitted to knowing about the captured creature and
told us that he was being held in the dwarven quarry. His
deceptions have placed him under suspicion of the party,
especially Nina.

•
Orome talked to Vito the satyr and asked him about
Oakenbrow, the victim we are to rescue. Turns out he is their
leader and an treant. Orome also convinced Vito to
accompany us as a guide.
•
In the woods, though Vito was acting as guide, Ankis still
scouted out ahead. He was again mentally attacked by
whatever had targeted him before, and again shown visions
of his life in the nest and the girl he loved as a youth. Again,
he fought off the attack, but, instead of ignoring it, he
recruited Orome to help hunt down the source. (With
Tommy's help, I succeeded in the roll). However, instead of
fi nding the source of the attack, we instead found the
dwarves of Floating Stone chopping down trees. (Not sure
why we didn't fi nd the attacker).
•
In dire-ram form, Mason charged the dwarves, shouting (in
dwarven) about the woods being cursed and she was one of
them who had been changed into a ram for chopping down
trees. It worked and the dwarves ran for their island.
•
We approached the quarry and saw that it was guarded by a
wall with dwarves walking the ramparts. Ankis decided to
climb the wall and see what was going on inside. I failed the
roll but saw inside several dirt buildings with smoke coming
out, a road going down the side of the mine and a giant oak
tree in the middle of it all.
•
Still in ram form, Mason charged the front entrance,
shattering the gates and starting a Chase-Off conflict with the
dwarves, which we won handily.
•
We went into a tunnel and Ankis found a secret door. Dario
detected a trap and we successfully disarmed it, but failed to
pick the lock, so Mason transformed back to her mortal form
and smashed the door with his thunder-hammer/axe. We
found a dwarf on the other side sitting and guarding the door.
He tried to run, but Dario and Ankis stopped him with a
couple of well placed daggers and throwing blades.
•
Questioning the dwarf, we found that the quarry was there to
make charcoal, but that they had a side business of making
and selling black powder. (We encountered black powder
bombs in the Last Battle of the Flying Ships.)
•
We forced the guard to tell us where his captain was and that
they had three elves captive (three of the four missing
scouts). Turns out the forth, Dario's target, was a traitor that
go the other three captured). We released the captives and
locked up the guard.
•
We then went to their captain and convinced him that we
were not their enemy but representatives of the elves,
potential allies. He informed us more of the elf scout's
treason and provided further informations that implies guilt
on Talaal. He also told us of the strange wizard that had
enchanted Oakenbrow, causing I'm to be possessed by spirit
orbs. The Brother (as he is called) was stiff moving, almost
robotic. But he was made of flesh the consistency of clay.
All evidences points to him being a clay-golem, but golems
have little real intelligence and most defi nitely cannot cast
spells. We suspect that he is inhabited by a spirit as apposed
to the normal elemental.
•
We convinced the dwarf that it was in his best interest to
allow us to free the treant from his possession and return him
home.
•
We did a banish/abjure conflict with the spirit orbs, but lost.
As a compromise, we banished two of the three orbs, but the
third still has partial control over the treant, who is mostly to
himself now, but is furious with the dwarves and has vowed
revenge.
•
End of session.

PS: We did questions the elves on the psychic attack on
Ankis and found that it is likely a succubus/incubus attacking

creature, however.

•
We escorted Oakenbrow to his home and exchanged him for
the captured elf.
•
Questioned the elf and discovered he was merely doing what
he had to to protect the elven forest. He knew that if the king
8
was aware of what the dwarves were doing, he would cancel
any negotiations with them and leave their northern border
open to attack. The elf claimed to see the error of his ways
when we rescued him. We agreed to continue with the
mission and get him to Floating Stone to complete the
negotiations. (We also convinced the dryad to accompany us
as a representative of the forest community.)
•
Reaching Floating Stone, we found it to be a “haven for
scum and villainy”, where the dwarves were in charge, but
were not actually pirates/sailors themselves. They were
merely a port/fence for dozens of races of pirates.
•
With no real trouble, we found our way to the dwarven keep
of Andrine Copperspine, the leader of Floatin Stone. There,
we tried to convince her to join our cause, but lost and
discovered that the elf had sold us out again. In exchange for
the dwarves allowing elven troops on Standing Stone and for
the undead armies of Jacosta leaving the elven lands alone,
the elf was to deliver the “heroes of Port of Swords” to
Floating Stone so that Copperspine could hand us off to The
Brother (clay golem sorcerer). We lost a Capture Conflict
and were tied and handed over to the elf that Dario had been
assigned to assassinate and 12 dwarf guards. (Orome, not
wanting his elf-horse to fall into cruel hands, allowed the elf
noble to take him home).
•
While being escorted off of the island, Mason (in dire ram
form) caused a ruckus trying to escape and Dario called in
his gryphon mount to attack the dwarves. Under this
distraction, Dario and Ankis escaped their bonds. Dario
charged his elf target only to be stabbed by an arrow before
tackling him. Ankis freed the rest of the companions while
the dwarves rallied.
•
Dario questioned the elf only to discover that he was a traitor
to his people, selling his services to the highest bidder. Dario
then allowed his gryphon to dispatch the target.
•
Ankis then drew his hidden dagger and licked the blade,
asking the dwarven guards “Who’s next?”. They cowered in
fear, but not from him. The companions looked behind them
to see a ship with a lone fi gure at the bow, looking them over.
He was robed and as still as a statue. It was The Brother.
•
In no shape to fi ght, we ran. Instead of giving chase, The
Brother just watched us escape, as if we were of no concern
to him.
•
We returned to Oakenbrow’s home and made camp. While
hunting, Orome came across the elven noble on his horse.
He admitted to regretting his decisions and knew that, since
we were free, his life in the elven capitol was over. He
agreed to help us get back on the ship and face The Brother
on our own terms.

•
We hijacked a wagon of black powder on route to The
Brother’s ship and rigid a barrel with a triggered fuse. (The
original plan was for Ankis and Dario to sneak into their
camp and sabotage their crossbows, (which we did while the
others made a distraction in the woods). However, when it
got down to the actual ambush, Mason, in ram form,
“convinced” the dwarves to just give us the wagon and
powder.
•
Fuse worked and blew up The Brother’s ship, but he escaped
and we confronted him on the docks among all the
confusion.
•
Defeated The Brother to discover the golem had been
occupied by Darwin, the brother of Anna’s old character/now
vampire Selwin.
•
Smashed the gem in The Brother’s staff, releasing the orbs
that were possessing Oakenbrow, freeing him of their
influence.
•
Went to Luna Leia for town session. Orome petitioned for a
title and was knighted Protector of the Red Sun(?). The
elven king offered to bring the desert elves of Nina’s
homeland back into the fold and gave her a sealed letter to
give to her mother.
•
We were informed that the sea elf king is under some kind of

prevent a war with the sea elves, who are just following their
king’s orders.

Gungerroot, that he had ben asking around town about Ankis,
had discovered he is from Swanspire. Last word was that
Gingerroot was heading there for some reason.
•
Also heard news of the blue dragon lair in the desert (of
which Ankis has been carrying a map of for a while now).
Orome wants to go there because he heard tell of a cursed
item that may turn him into an elf. He has told no one in the
party of this desire, though.
•
Mason got the enchanted chest she sought from Yoshiro and
placed the Sunstone and other artifacts within. she also hired

•
Due to Olivia leaving the group, Nina appeared late for the
group leaving. She had he hair cut short and most of the
color washed out of it. Sadly she told us that he mother
believed the outside world was having a negative effect on
her and ordered her to remain at the church.
•
We then met Algrum(?), a dwarven smith who is in search of
a set of smith's tools and a book of smithing secrets that once
belonged to his clan. He believes the treasures are part of a
blue dragon's hoard in this very desert. Coincidentally, we
were headed for that very dragon's lair, so the dwarf joined
us.
•
With Nina's elf friend as guide, and horses loaned to us by
the elves, we made our way a cross the desert. As we got
closer to the canyons, the sky began to darken with a thin
layer of clouds, intermittently lighting up with heat lightning.
The guide informed us that the presence of a dragon will,
over time, effect the local weather. As blue dragons lay
claim over the element of electricity, lightning surrounds
their lairs.
•
Realizing the Lightning display could also act as a diversion,
Ankis scouted ahead and discovered a group of ankhegs
lying in wait under the sand. We circled around, avoiding the
trap.
•
When we reached the Mesa, we decided to travel the canyon
maze instead of climbing to the top. We left the horses with
the porters (and Mason's magical chest) vamped outside.
•
Avoiding harassing kobolds, we quickly found the entrance
to the dragon's lair.
•
We encountered some kobolds and their jackals in the
caverns, but, for the most part avoided them and/or chased
them of. W
e found what star we thought was a boiling oil
trap. Algrum and Ankis reversed the trigger so that it would
pour back onto the kobolds watching. Ankis then lured them
in, but it turned out that it was simple a sticky tar trap. Dario
and Orome knocked the helpless kobolds unconscious.
At
one point, Ankis was scouting ahead and found three kobolds
sleeping. "To protect his nest" (as per his Belief), he
dispatched the vermin.
•
Across an especially wide and deep crevasse, we spied a
large fi gure sleeping in the shadows. (Presumably the
dragon). But with no way across, we were forced to
backtrack.
•
In an area of elven made rooms, after fi ghting and defeating
some kobold females, we found their "treasure room". Ankis
was foolishly lured to a large pile of gold and fell down a
chute trap into a prison cell. While he picked the lock,
Oromo used a rope and climbed down to rescue him.

We crossed a rope bridge into another passage, leading left

Started up with a camp session. Nothing special. Did rig up
some torches from table legs, rags and the pitch from the trap
from last session. Failed the test which resulted in smoky
torches, but never really came into play.
•
Decided to lay a trap for the dragon. Orin and Mason rigged
up explosives. The idea was to lure the dragon up his escape
shaft and blow the walls around him.
•
Found a room, barred from our side, bulging with weight
from the other side. Mason busted it down to reveal a room
of gnawed on bones. Searched it and found a talking bust,
very obnoxious. (Think C3-PO's head). Bust knew history
of Shin Chu, the brass dragon that used to live here, and
Naziro(?), the blue that took the lair. Revealed that Shin Chu
lost a leg (somehow) and decided he would not be able to
guard the keep properly so he left, leaving the lair open for
the taking by the blue dragon. When we asked where Shin
Chu went, the bust said he probably took mortal form and
could be anywhere. Orome had the idea that our elven guide,
who walks with a decided limp, might be Shin Chu. He was
correct.
•
The brass dragon and the talking bust informed us that there
was another guardian for the blue dragon: a genie in a lamp,
but that we might convince the genie to help us. We lured
the genie out, but she told us she was bound to protect
whoever owns the lamp and could allow no one through who
was a threat to the dragon.
•
Ankis suggested that he alone posed no threat to the dragon
and the genie agreed to allow him through in hopes of him
stealing the lamp and freeing the genie. However, the rest of
the party didn't want Ankis to take such a risk alone, so the
genie allowed Dario and Orin to accompany him, provided
we left our weapons behind. The three then told us where
the lamp was located in the lair.
•
Ankis succeeded in stealing the lamp and escaping the lair
without waking the sleeping blue dragon. He tried to get the
genie to help them before destroying the lamp and freeing
her, but she would have none of it and threat intended to
attack. Ankis smashed the lamp before things got worse.
•
somehow, we got the hour glass as well. When Ankis,
Orome and Orin decided they wanted to kill the blue dragon
(with the brass dragon and the genie's help), Mason and
Dario decided they would leave with the hour glass in case
things took a turn for the worse during the fi ght.
•
With the dragon's aid (+2D to Defend as a draconic shield)
and the genie's assistance (raising our Might and aiding its
actions), we had the genie lure the dragon up the shaft and
blew the trap. It worked and he was crushed in the collapse,
Injuring and Exhausting him. After and scary (and nearly
fatal) fi rst round of combat, we came from behind and slew
the dragon.
•
Along with endless treasures, we found a few times of
interest in the dragon's hoard, among them the hour glass we
need to teleport to the sea elf island and an illithid head in a
jar that allows us to communicate with the Sisters.
•
The genie is limited to granting one wish in a year's time.
No one stopped Orome when he wished to be turned into an
elf. It worked, (basically turning him into a changed class).
However, the action was seen as a slap in the face of Mason's
past and he decided it was the last straw. He is leaching the
group, (Anna having already created a character to take his
place.). He did say he was going to take the chest and all its
10
treasures with him. That didn't go over well with the rest of
the group.

Gigglin. The Sisters said Gigglin was unlike other goblins
and would be able to aid us in our cause.
•
We went to the elven temple fi rst and gave them the news of
the blue's death and Shin Chu's return. However, she was not
at all pleased with Orome's transformation. So much that it
turned her against his desire for a truce between the desert
elves and those of Luna Leia.
•
We then travelled to The dwarven citadel and found the ship
in question. There, we found a dwarf captain beating a
goblin captive with a cudgel. After speaking to the captain,
we learned that the goblin had been caught trying to steal
"stink balls" from the ship and was now enslaved to work off

•
We tried to convince Gigglin (Anna's new character), to join

•
Later, when Ankis was trying to to fi nd a ship to deliver a

trying to sneak onto the ship. Feigning drunkenness, Ankis
acted as a diversion, but the goblin was still caught. But,
while they dwarves were distracted with the goblin, Ankis
snuck on board and stole the stink balls. When he was
found, he continued his "drunken" state and was escorted

it. (Gigglin did sneak a stink bomb into the dwarf captains
pocket that went off and an extremely embarrassing time.)
•
We teleported to the sea elf island into a cave. We found an
underground river as the only exit. Ankis tied a rope to
himself and dove in, but the rope didn't go far enough.
Trusting that his companions would note his intention, he cut
the rope and came out into a chamber in the sea elf keep.
The others soon followed.
•
We found the back side of a secret door and, when we went
through, were confronted by a patrol of sea elf guards. We
captured them, poisoning their leader in the process. Ankis
healed her in an attempt to convince here we were here to
help free their king from possession. She was aware of his
condition and was happy to receive help, telling us there
were other allies among the elves. She told us secrets of the
keep, like that the king was holding council with the undead
captains of the fleet and that Jacosta was rumored to be in the
lower level temples of the keep.

Started session with the sea elf captain revealing someone
hiding in a nearby closet: The king's two young children and
their guardian, a gnome illusionist, (Tracy's old character
returned).
•
After some concern that, if we were to destroy the bones of
the possessing spirit at the wrong time, the true king could be
slain by his enemies, (one of which was the vampire form of
Anna's old character, the half-elf Selwin). We decided that
the gnome would lure the king out to the aquarium with a
story about his children and we would lie in wait, ready to
destroy the bones in the sunlight at the top of the aquarium.
The plan went off without a hitch and we freed the king. The
sea elf guards promised to get the Royal family to safety,
leaving us to deal with Jacosta.
•
We barred the exit from the aquarium from the opposite side,
trapping the undead captains within. After camping in a
kitchen, we lured several zombie guards away from the
entrance to the temple below and continued on in our quest.
•
We found a waterfall/pool of a mixture of blood and
seawater. The pool was occupied by a undead elemental,
which we dispatched handily.
•
After fi nding a few more hidden rooms with nothing of note,
we came to the lowest level, which was a magical tunnel
through the ocean waters, at the bottom of which was Jacosta
attempting to summon what turned out to be a kraken. After
Ankis charged and and scattered the papers the vampire was
reading her spell from, the fi nal battle began! And ended,
when Orome killed her with one strike from his deadwood
sword, Heartseeker.
•
It was decided that next time, we would leave the sea elves to
rebuild and head back to the dwarven city for the winter
phase.
