your gradient background.

(This is an important step that allows the paint to adhere to the wood.)
Sand off top varnish coat.
Apply a coat of Primer to the sanded bottom of deck
(Once Primed, gently sand primer so surface is smooth. No lumps, and make sure screw holes are
not fi lled).
