Migration
The movement of people from one place to another
within a country.
Loyalist
A person who remained loyal to the British king.
Prejudice
The unfair feeling of hate or dislike for members of a
certain group because of their background, race, or
religion.
Neutral
Not taking a side in a disagreement.
Reservation
Land set aside by the government for use by American
Indians.
Inflation
An economic condition in which more money is needed
to buy goods and services than was needed earlier.
Petroleum
Another name for oil.

Charging and extra high price for a good or service.
Boom
A time of fast economic growth.

A large, organized group of soldiers.
