school, or future goals?

SMART GOAL
SPECIFIC
What exactly will you
do?
I want to be more flexible and try new things. I
want to be able to step out of my comfort zone and
try something that might make me a little
uncomfortable.
MEASURABLE
How will you know if
you meet your goal?
What is your current
reality? What would
you like to achieve?
I will be taking more risks and hopefully have a
more positive outlook on things that make me a
little uncomfortable.
ACHIEVABLE
What steps will you
take to reach your
goal?
I want to always go for new opportunities when
they arise. I will try to go out of my way to try new
things and escape the box I’m always in. I will try to
do more things that people suggest.
RELEVANT
What about your goal
makes it important to
you?
I think this will help me be more motivated in a lot
of the things I do. I really hope this will help me be
more happy in my experiences.
TIMELY
When do you want to
complete your goal?
This goal is defi nitely more of a lifelong thing to
work on but it is also something I can see improving
in just a couple days. Just by doing small things like
talking to more people will be a big improvement.
Goal Feedback
GOAL FEEDBACK
The pages in this section will help you
self-assess
as well as provide a place to
note peer feedback on
your goal(s).
GALLERY WALK
Learn from your peers! Take a gallery walk and explore your peers’ goals. Take pictures of
goals that inspire you, challenge your thinking, or connect to your own goals. Add your
reflection in the caption.
I chose this one because I
connect to it and if I were to
choose another goal I think it
would be similar to this. Asking
for help before going on your
own is an important skill.
I connected to this goal because living in
the present could be one of the steps to
help get to my
goal. Send this is also a
goal that affects the people around you
in a positive way
I connect to this one as well because
this is one of the things I have
trouble with and it is similar to my
comfort zone goal. Being more
engaged in new things connects to
my goal.
This goal was interesting to me
because it i something I want to
do as part of my goal. Stepping
out of my comfort zone socially
is part of my goal.
I wondered…wondered what opportunities i’ll go for, life or social or work. Is this more of a
school thing or personal and social aspects.
PEER REVIEW
Share your goal with a peer. Ask them to complete the following sentences…
I saw or heard… I'm trying to push my limits and rise to the next level. Striving for new
opportunities and trying to escape my box.
I liked… trying to take new opportunities and grow my knowledge. That I have a clear idea on
what I want to do and how to get there.
