This assignment is about CREAT(E)VITY. You need to spend time
thinking about this assignment. I cannot tell you what you will create.
You must create independently. Your art does not have to be about a
Marvel Comics character.

WHAT IF …? What If, sometimes rendered as What If...?, is a series of comic books published by Marvel Comics whose stories explore how the
Marvel Universe might have unfolded if key moments in its history had not occurred as they did in mainstream comics. What If comics have been
published in 13 series, as well as many stand-alone issues, since the 1970s.
Most “What If” stories begin with “The Watcher” describing an event that takes place in the Marvel Universe.
The Watcher then introducing a
point of divergence
or “WHAT IF” event. The Watcher then
describes the
consequences of the “WHAT IF” event.
